We will also be joined by the Canadian Youth Olympic Team skipped by Tyler Tardi of BC, who join us for the second time in preparation for the Youth Olympics to be held in Lillehammer, Norway in Feb 2016.
Twenty three teams are confirmed already and the final nine teams will qualify through two events in the fall. Three local teams on both Men’s and Women’s sides will earn their spots at the OVCA SuperSpiel Qualifier held at the Almonte Curling Club on Oct 16-18.
The SuperSpiel weekend will kick off at the Navy CC at 3pm on Oct 29th at our annual Pro-Am, where young OVCA curlers got to play with Pros from the SuperSpiel. Special thanks to the Pros for giving of their time and positive energy to make this a great event.
We welcome back to Ottawa many of the elite curlers who competed in our 22nd Annual SuperSpiel in 2015. All venues are open to the public and the games are played to full houses. Admission is free and fans will be treated to great curling all weekend!
